It’s my great privilege and honor to be the Principal, Vijaya College of Nursing , Chennai . Our Hospital is a well known renowned traditional institute celebrated Golden Jubilee by the Grace of the Almighty. We, The Vijaya College of Nursing is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and The Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai
We offered GNM nursing program for more than a decade and now it is upgraded to College of Nursing which is a 4 year Graduate Program in Basic BSc. Nursing with 100 intake per annum permitting only female candidate We have qualified Ph.D , PG and UG Faculty Members with wide variety of experiences globally and also the Non Teaching staff of the nursing college holds the responsibility in imparting nursing education and discipline in order to provide highly competent and qualified nurses to face the challenge. We ensure all around development of the students and a strong emphasis on intellectual, cultural and spiritual aspects including co curricular and extracurricular programs to meet the demand of the society in an affordable manner.
An excellent infrastructural facilities, hands on training with multispecialty hospital of around 600 bedded own parent hospital and along with the Government tie ups will make the student nurses to enrich their knowledge and practice on all dimensions and flourish with flying colors.
The College has a rich history of educating exceptional nurses with latest technology of educational aids used for enriching teaching-learning activities .The college has well equipped labs and a Library of more than 3000 books of latest edition. The college provides comfortable and safety accommodations for girls with round the clock security services.
Indeed it’s a happy moment to welcome all the aspirants to join with us towards their academic journey starting from student nurse to a successful nursing professional. The Vijaya College of Nursing pledge to strive hard in becoming a center of excellence in nursing education.
