The University Research Day 2025 at Dr. MGR University, Guindy, unfolded in grand style on 26th September 2025, marking a proud celebration of innovation and scholarship. The event was graced by the Honourable Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister, Thiru. Ma. Subramaniam, whose inspiring address highlighted the transformative power of research in shaping the future of healthcare. 

Among the enthusiastic participants stood the vibrant team from Vijaya College of Nursing—the Principal, the college management AO , faculty, and students—proud representatives of their institution’s spirit of progress. The celebration reached its pinnacle when Vijaya College of Nursing was lauded with the First Prize among upcoming nursing colleges in Tamil Nadu, presented by the Honourable Minister himself. This distinguished recognition stands as a shining testament to the college’s unwavering commitment to academic brilliance, research innovation, and the advancement of nursing education
